Jumanji

I saw the first Jumanji again a couple weeks ago, and this film is just pure fun with Robin Williams right in his prime. The film, for the younger people out there who haven't seen it, is about a board game that comes to life right into your living room.

When Alan Parrish finds a game he and his friend Sarah decide to play it; they have no idea what they have done. In one move Alan gets sucked into the game to never be heard from again. Years later, Judy and Peter find this fateful game, and pick up where Alan and Sarah left off. Now the four of them have to finish the game before it finishes them.

Robin Williams is awesome as always, and you get to see an early Kirsten Dunst who does a good job as well. Now for a movie made in the '90s some of the effects are good, but some aren't that great. If you can get past some of those effects I think most people can have a really fun time with this classic.

I do have to say this movie is definitely more PG-13 than its rating of PG. I would be careful how young your kids are when showing this because there are some scary moments in here. Other than that I think everyone should see this as soon as you can. Jumanji is definitely a movie everyone can have a lot of fun with.
