I know it has been a really long time since I did this, but here we go with a film that had a great send off to one of the most awesome comic book characters out there played by the perfect actor for the role; Logan. If you haven't seen this film yet all I have to ask is what are you waiting for.
This movie is just awesome! Everyone does a great job, and it is a fitting end to a character that most people love. The movie is gritty, and also has a lot of heart. This isn't a comic book movie; it is a drama with comic book characters. Right off the bat you feel for these people, and just hope everything works out for them.
The acting is incredible, and I have no complaints. Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart are great as always, and Dafne Keen is mind blowing as Laura. These three have great chemistry, and you enjoy every minute they are together.
The action and effects are really good, and since it is rated R they don't hold back on anything which just adds to the grittiness of the film. This is a rough world they live in, and they show it. James Mangold did a phenomenal job directing, and I have nothing but praise for this film. If you like the character of Wolverine at all see this film as soon as humanly possible because it is just incredible!
In the end, as of right now Logan is my favorite film of 2017. I'm not saying that won't change, but it is that good. Everyone at some point in your life needs to see this film. There are your regular comic book films, which are really good, and then there are the ones that go beyond normal; Logan is that film, and it is why people need to see this movie.
