I saw Fences today, and all I have to say is incredible. This is a film everyone needs to see as soon as you can. Everything was excellent the acting, the story, and the directing. This is a top notch film that I was just blown away by. As long as you can handle a character piece you will have a great time with this movie.
I can see some people might get bored with this film, but not a lot of people. After seeing Fences I can say I am definitely more grateful for the family I do have. This review is short because there isn't enough praise I can give this film. You just have to see it to understand what I mean. In the end, I say see it as soon as you can; either in the theatre, or on DVD/Blu Ray.

La La Land
I saw La La Land recently, and I found this film interesting. This is a film you have to know what you are going to see before you see it. This is a musical, and if you aren't a fan of those you may not like this movie. I had a lot of fun with this, but I can see a lot of people not liking it. I can even see people being bored, but that wasn't me.
Once you get over the musical part I felt it added something to the film that you can enjoy if you allow it. If you like play musicals then you will love this film. The story was interesting enough that I was intrigued. I also liked the chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. They did a really good job, and I thought their singing was fine.
La La Land is a movie that you have to know it before you see it. I really liked this film, and I think you should give it a try, but I don't think you need a theatre for this film. It doesn't add or take away anything from the experience of the movie. I do think you should see it at least once though.

Passengers

It doesn't do anything new in the sci-fi genre, but if you take the film for what it is you can have fun. You don't have to rush out and see this, but if you want to go to the movies, and just want a fun time this is the movie for you and a group of friends.

Manchester by the Sea
I saw Manchester by the Sea recently, and I really liked it. This is a film I can understand all the rewards it is getting by. The acting was great, and the story kept you hooked.
