Sorry guys for not doing a review in a while, but I got home for summer break and all I wanted to do was just relax. Since the playoffs are going on right now I thought I would review the film Miracle. Miracle is a film based on the true story of Coach Herb Brooks who led the U.S. hockey team to victory in the 1980 Olympics.
If you want a film that will make any person cheer, Miracle is the film for you. Even if you aren't a hockey or sports fan you will still be able to enjoy every minute of this film. There are a few reasons you will enjoy this film. The first is the camera work, and the way they film the games. You get the experience of feeling you are on the ice with these players, and you are going through what they are. The second reason is the acting.
This film has a lot of talent, and a few first time actors who still give the performance of an actor who's been acting for a while. The cast includes: Kurt Russell, who has been in films like The Thing and Stargate, Patricia Clarkson, who has been in films like Shutter Island and The Green Mile, Noah Emmerich, who has been in films like The Truman Show and Super 8, Sean McCann, who has been in films like Tommy Boy and Chicago, Kenneth Welsh, who has been in films like Legends of the Fall and The Aviator, and finally Eddie Cahill, who was in the tv series CSI:NY.
Now there are many more actors in this film, but these are the well-known ones. Here is a scene from the film that shows that anyone can enjoy this film. No matter how many times you have seen Miracle you can't help but get into it every time. You may know what happens, but you still are on the edge of your seat every time. In the end, Miracle is an amazing film and my rating is that you need to see this film as soon as you can. You will not regret it, and you will be recommending it yourself. Miracle is a great film, and I hope you guys decide to see it after reading this; you will not be sorry.
