I watched the Netflix Series Altered Carbon pretty much right when it came out, and this show is incredible. If you have ever watched a series that just hooked you immediately then you will know what I experienced when I started this series.
Altered Carbon is about our world in the future where they figured out a way to keep people alive. The way they did it is that our bodies are no longer who we are, they are known as sleeves, and they are able to collect our essence and keep transferring it to a different sleeve as soon as we get old, or we are murdered.
This alone brings up the question of humanity, and if we should really be able to live forever. This show just really made me think about life, and it just interested me from the very beginning. I really hope this series gets another season, but if it doesn't everyone should watch it because it still wraps in a way that gives you closure, but still wanting more. The acting, action, and special effects are really good. Just one thing; like most of their shows this one is rated TV-MA, so it isn't for kids.
In the end, I think everyone should watch Altered Carbon as soon as you can. It is a really thought provoking action packed sci-fi series.

Black Panther
I saw Black Panther a while ago, and I liked it very much. Marvel just keeps doing very well with all of its films, and it makes me excited for anyone of them that comes out. I thought everything was well done; the acting, action, special effects, and the directing.
Ryan Coogler is a force to be reckoned with, and after this film I can't wait to see what he does next. My only complaint about Black Panther is the use of two villains. I don't think they should've done that because it made it feel like it was two movies put together as one. It didn't annoy me so much that I disliked the movie, but it still bothered me a little bit.
In the end, Black Panther is a great comic's book movie that I think everyone should see at least once. It is a really fun movie that a lot of people I think can have fun with.
