To Save a Life

I recently rewatched the film To Save a Life, and I'm going to say this right in the beginning; everyone should see this film. I say that because of the main message of this movie. It looks at how we treat each other, and how words do hurt.

Whether in person  or online, what you say has an effect on people, and we need to start being better before we push someone too far. This film does focus on a certain faith, and has some subplots that have to deal with that, but the main story is about our actions. It doesn't matter what faith you believe in I think the main message of the movie is reason enough to see To Save a Life.

In the end, it makes you think about how we treat each other, and how we can make a difference in just one person's life. This film changed me for the better, and I think it will change you if you give it a chance. I say everyone should see To Save a Life as soon as you possibly can. It will make this world just a little better.

Concussion

I saw the film Concussion recently, and I thought it was a great film. The acting, especially by Will Smith, is really good, but more importantly the story is very compelling. It was a story that needed to be told, and all football players need to see this film. It will probably terrify them, and their families, but it is something they should know.

I had no problems with this film, and I strongly believe everyone should see this movie as soon as they can. It will change your respect for the people who play sports, and it will change your outlook of sports, particularly football, as you know it.

The Big Short

I watched the film The Big Short recently, and I enjoyed this film very much. The acting was well done, you aren't confused too much of what is going on, and the story was extremely interesting.

Just for the story alone I think you should see this at some point. It keeps you hooked the entire time, and you just want to find out what happened next. It is based on a true story, and because of that I was hooked a little more. In the end, everyone should see this when they get the chance.

Joy

I saw Joy recently, and in all honesty is was an interesting film, but it is fine for just a one time watch. I found it a little boring actually. You can watch it if you are bored one night, but I wouldn't pay money to see it in the theatre.

The Revenant

I saw The Revenant about a week ago, and it is absolutely incredible. All the acting is really good, but this is by far one of Leo's best performances by far. This is his film, and when you see it, which you Need to see it, you will understand why.

This film is not for everyone, but if you can handle some gruesome images you are in for a ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat. At some point I think everyone should see this film. Also, I have to give the Director his props on taking the huge risk of filming this all in natural light. It was a huge risk that paid off immensely with how beautiful it looked in the end. Now that is appreciating the art of film. One last thing, this is more a survival film than a revenge film, just so you know.

13 Hours

I saw the film 13 Hours today, and I had a lot of fun with it. Most people don't like Michael Bay movies' anymore, but I think anyone who likes true stories, and war films will enjoy this film.

It isn't a perfect film, but it tells the story of these 6 brave men that you overlook those imperfections to have an enjoyable film experience. I think that if you can handle extreme war violence you should see this film at some point.
